Ancestral farm in the Isarco Valley - South Tyrol: family and history

Our life on the farm

The Lechnerhof is an ancestral farm which has been in our family for over 200 years. The owners, Andreas and Ruth, will be glad to give you help and advice at any time.

Our farm is home to our herd of dairy cows. Our puppy and kittens also enjoy life here at the Lechnerhof. There are big green meadows and a small potato field close to the farm. Would you like to know more about life on our farm? Book your visit to the stables!

There's always lots to do on the farm. We use agricultural machinery and vehicles - so we ask our guests to take due care.

"The farm is our great love: we want to continue its history and pass it on successfully to the next generation."

The history of the farm …

The Lechnerhof has a long story behind it. The old farmhouse was demolished in 1968 and replaced by the current building. That was when the first guests came to stay. Until 2010, the Lechnerhof mainly hosted school parties and groups. In 2020, the farm was totally renovated and turned into a holiday home.

The stables were rebuilt in 1990, and are due to be modernised in the near future.
